Every year Princeton Review ranks law schools on various criteria, including the quality of teaching. In 2023, Case Western Reserve University School of Law ranked as the 26th best law school in this category.

This high ranking of CWRU’s law faculty corresponds with two other studies that rank faculty by scholarly impact. The most recent Head and Sichelman study of scholarly impact, based on SSRN downloads and HeinOnline citations, ranked the CWRU faculty 30th in the nation. The most recent Sisk/Leiter study ranked the CWRU faculty 36th in the nation based on citations to their publications over the past three years.

Our outstanding faculty hold national leadership positions, argue in high-profile cases, publish cutting-edge scholarship and appear often in the news media — and their first priority is their students’ success.
