Five New Tenured Faculty at CWRU School of Law—Including Four Hires

Front view of the Law School

We are proud to announce the addition of four impactful lateral hires to our community of scholars and the promotion of Ayesha Bell Hardaway to full professor of law with tenure (all effective July 1 except Atiba Ellis, who began Jan. 1).

The most recent Heald and Sichelman study of scholarly impact ranked the CWRU law faculty 30th in the nation based on SSRN downloads and HeinOnline citations. The most recent Sisk/Leiter study ranked the CWRU law faculty 36th in the nation based on citations to their publications over the past three years.

We are eager to see the impact of these renowned faculty on our community and the field of law education and scholarship.
