Jonathan Adler and his co-author, Jacob James Rich, recently published an article entitled “Uneducating Americans on Vaping.” The article was the cover story of the Cato Institute’s summer 2023 issue of Regulation Magazine. The article argues that Americans need to be better educated about electronic cigarettes and other vaping products that are much safer than conventional cigarettes. An accurate understanding of the relative risks of the different products can enable consumers to make better choices and can promote public health. The full article is available online.
