Law Alumni Association Board announces 4 new members

Case Western Reserve School of Law is proud to announce four new additions to the Law Alumni Association Board (LAAB), including Mike Gabrail (LAW '14), Anne Lederman Flamm (LAW '95) and David Shall (LAW '83). Carly Koza (LAW'21) was selected as the 3L student representative.

Consisting of 32 active alumni and one current student representative, and spanning several decades of class years, members of the Law Alumni Association Board demonstrate professional excellence in the corporate, non-profit, private and public sectors.

Mike Gabrail (LAW '14)
Michael Gabrail ‘14

Michael is Chief Executive Officer of the Crossroads Group in Richfield, Ohio. Crossroads Group is a holding company focused on real estate and early venture businesses with a long-term outlook. Michael also provides pro bono legal work to organizations that protect property rights against state and local governments. He is passionate about the importance of a legal education.

Carly Koza

Carly is a 3L student at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. During her time at law school, Carly has volunteered with the 3Rs Program under the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, tutored 1L and upper-level writing students, participated in mock trial and moot court, and sang in the law school's student/faculty band, "Razing the Bar." Carly is currently pursuing a concentration in healthcare law and plans to work at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney P.C. in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania after graduation.

Anne Lederman Flamm (LAW '95)
Anne Lederman Flamm ‘95

Anne is Adjunct Faculty & Director, Health Law & Policy Research Lab at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. In this position, she secures pro bono law & policy research projects from health-related nonprofit organizations and supervises 2L and 3L students' completion of the work. Anne also serves as Ethicist for the National Cancer Institute's Central Institutional Review Board - Late Phase Emphasis, and for the Data and Safety Monitoring Board for the Blood and Marrow Transplant Clinical Trials Network of the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute. Previously, Anne was a Clinical Bioethicist at Cleveland Clinic and The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.

David Shall (LAW '83)
David Shall ‘83

David is COO and General Counsel for Beverly Hills-based Tornante Television, a subsidiary of The Tornante Company. Prior to joining Tornante, David was Executive Vice President, Business Operations/General Counsel for Fremantle North America, Inc. David also served as Executive Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs and New Business Development for Twentieth Television, a division of Twentieth Century Fox. Earlier in his career, David worked as a business & legal affairs executive for FX Networks in New York City, Tribune Entertainment Company in Chicago, and Paramount Domestic Television in Hollywood.
