Master of Laws (LLM) and Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD) students enrolled in the school of law recently took a day trip to the oldest state park in the U.S.—Niagara Falls.

“Our students get an excellent legal education, but their experiences outside the classroom have an equal impact on their lives, and fond memories of their experiences last a lifetime,” said Liz Woyczynski, director of admissions and student services, global legal studies. ”Our international students are familiar with Niagara Falls even before they arrive in the US. They are eager to visit attractions around the country.”

Students enjoyed a boat ride on the iconic Maid of the Mist and had ample time to explore the Cave of the Winds, platforms and stairs near the bottom of the falls. Students from France, Morocco, China, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Libya, Mali, Nigeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom enjoyed the famous scenes of Niagara Falls.

“The trip to Niagara Falls was truly a remarkable experience. From the very beginning, everything was set for a great day,” said student Corentin Saint-Girons. “We were blessed with beautiful weather, making the entire day very pleasant. One of the highlights was definitely the boat ride; it was both exhilarating and fun. By the end of the day, we were all exhausted, but in the best way possible. It was a day filled with laughter, adventure and unforgettable memories.”
