Case Western Reserve University School of Law is thrilled to welcome the JD class of 2026 to campus. This exceptional group of individuals make up one of the most diverse and academically talented classes the law school has ever seen. We are proud to welcome these 154 students to Cleveland. 

2023 Entering Class:

These students also bring extensive real-world experience, including public service in non-profits, the Peace Corps and AmeriCorps, and as teachers, a refugee resettlement worker, a behavioral health case worker and a librarian for the Library of Congress. Several of these students have served in the military in the US Army, the Marine Corps and the Air Force as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician. Additionally, many students come from the corporate world, including roles in accounting, marketing, project management and risk management. Others come from health care fields including lab technicians, medical simulation specialists and surgical technicians. 

Many of these students held law-related jobs as law clerks, paralegals and legal assistants at law firms prior to beginning law school. Others were professional musicians, conflict journalists, bartenders, engineers and a sports science analyst with the Cleveland Guardians. 

In addition, 102 international students are enrolled in our LLM (Master of Laws) and SJD (Doctor of Juridical Science) programs. These students come from China, France, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Libya, Morocco, Nigeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom. 

And we have 25 entering students in our newest degree program, our Masters in Compliance and Risk Management (CRM). Together with the continuing CRM degree students, we have a total of 53 students in this new program that was launched in 2021.
