In October 2020, Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost announced the formation of a Scientific Advisory Council to serve as a sounding board regarding the best ways to preserve and safeguard Ohio’s natural resources.

Jonathan Adler, the Johan Verheij Memorial professor of law and director of the Coleman P. Burke Center for Environmental Law, is one of 12 experts in science, law and policy from nine Ohio universities to be named to the council.
