The School of Law launched its new Master and Certificates in Compliance and Risk Management Programs in the fall of 2021. These programs are designed to meet the increasing demand by businesses and government agencies for experts in state, federal, and international laws and regulations. Two of the programs will feature a specific focus on the healthcare industry.

The volume of laws, regulations, standards and guidelines governing businesses has dramatically increased during the past several decades. When a business fails to comply, it can open itself up to lawsuits and serious financial and criminal liability.  Consequently, the School of Law this fall launched its new master degree and certificate programs in compliance and risk management. Demand for compliance experts has never been greater. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects an estimated 30,700 job openings for compliance officers and 91,300 for compliance managers nationally over the next 10 years.
