Virtual Commencement Information: How to Watch

On May 17, members of the CWRU Class of 2020 and their friends and families are invited to gather together online as the Case Western Reserve University leadership recognizes them and confers their CWRU degrees.

The virtual commencement videos will be available for viewing online on Sunday, May 17, 2020 beginning at 9:00 a.m. EST. Links will be available from the commencement homepage: https://case.edu/commencement/ or from the webcast page: https://case.edu/commencement/media/webcastThe videos will remain available, and can be viewed anytime after 9:00 a.m. EST.

The virtual convocation ceremony will include pre-recorded video messages from President Barbara R. Snyder, reflections from convocation speaker William F. Baker and Alumni Association President Arnold Huffman, along with the presentation of the Hovorka Prize, honorary degrees, and the official degree conferral.

There will also be a separate video for the law school diploma ceremony. This virtual ceremony will begin with congratulatory messages from Dean Berg and Dean Scharf, well wishes from members of the law school faculty and staff, and an address from outgoing SBA Presidents Justin Lepley and Liz Stark. A personalized, shareable, digital slide has been created for each graduate. You will be able to watch all the slides or select individual slides to view.
