On February 15, the CWRU Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Team received the highest average score of the 10 competing teams in the EODID Athens Vis Pre-Moot competition. The team was represented by 3Ls Teresa Azzam and Kathleen Burke. This semester, the team will also compete in Chicago, Pittsburgh, New York, Budapest and Vienna.
Update: Coming off the heels of winning the Athens Pre-Moot, CWRU's Vis International Arbitration team competed in the Chicago Pre-Moot and took second place on February 22, 2020. 1L team member Rachel McKay took home the Best Speaker Award in the competition, marking the second time in the past three years that a CWRU Law student has won the Best Speaker Award. Team members competing in Chicago included 2Ls Kristina Aiad-Toss and Emma Green and 1Ls Callan Foran, Rachel McKay and John Schon.
