Mission
The mission of the Women Faculty School of Medicine (WFSOM) organization at CWRU is to provide:
- Professional development opportunities for women faculty in the School of Medicine.
- Advocacy on behalf of women in academic medicine at CWRU and affiliates.
- Networking among women and leaders in academic medicine to promote academic, professional, and personal growth.
Membership
Participation in WFSOM leadership, programs, and events is open to all faculty regardless of gender; however, recruitment and engagement efforts are primarily directed toward female faculty in disciplines, including basic or clinical scientists, physicians, and physician-scientists.
