Reema Gulati, M.D., M.P.H. is the Director of Pediatric Gastroenterology at MetroHealth Medical Center and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Case School of Medicine. She graduated from Maulana Azad Medical College/University of Delhi, receiving her M.B.B.S. with honors in Physiology. She completed her Pediatric residency at MetroHealth, receiving ‘End of Year Exam’ awards for academic excellence. Thereafter, she completed a fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology at Cleveland Clinic. She is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology and specializes in treating children's gastrointestinal, liver, and nutritional diseases.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Gulati is an ardent researcher and teacher, a champion of women's professional development and wholesome community health. Her special interests are childhood fatty liver disease, health literacy, and health disparities in marginalized populations. She authors a monthly column MetroHealthy in a community newspaper.

Special interests: cancer pain management and communication skills. She envisions a future where healthcare institutions have integrated discipline-specific palliative care delivery, and she wants to lead the way in oncology palliative care.

Serving in leadership roles with various community non-profits, she has received the Rotary Paul Harris International Fellow award for serving rural Indian communities and Alpha Woman award.

Susan Freimark is the Director of Faculty Development at the School of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University. She has developed and implemented various professional development programs at the SOM for faculty in all career stages. Those programs provide opportunities to reflect and create a career vision statement and action plan, hone leadership skills and confidence, and identify obstacles and challenges to career success. She serves as a resource to faculty and chairs in navigating leadership issues. Her work includes consulting on professional conduct issues, coaching faculty members, chairs, and faculty administrators, and co-facilitating campus-wide professional development programs for junior and mid-career faculty.
