A recent study ranked CWRU the 3rd best law school in the country in Moot Court and Mock trial success. The top five were: #1 Fordham, #2 University of Miami, #3 CWRU, #4 Harvard, and #5 American.*

Two students from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law were among the winners of the fifth annual The Ohio State University College of Public Health Student Case Competition, held remotely in April. 

On Saturday, May 14, the School of Law honored 13 students with Case Global Service Awards. The students were recognized for their extraordinary contributions to the School of Law’s top-ranked international law program.  

Nadia Haile (LAW ‘22) and Makela Hayford (LAW ‘22), immediate past co-presidents of the Student Bar Association at CWRU School of Law, spoke at Commencement on Saturday, May 14.

On Saturday, May 14, 2022, Case Western Reserve University School of Law marked the 130th year since its founding with a Commencement ceremony for the Class of 2022. At Severance Music Center, the law school awarded 114 JD, 105 LLM, 34 Master and 13 SJD diplomas to students from 23 States and 12 countries.

With commencement 2022 approaching, CWRU School of Law is featuring a few of our outstanding graduating students to learn why they chose CWRU School of Law, what courses they enjoyed, the advice they'd share with incoming students and where they're headed next.

At a special event that included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, the School of Law at Case Western Reserve University dedicated the David J. Elk (‘64) – Elk+Elk Active Learning Classroom on May 11, 2022.

In May, Case Western Reserve University School of Law held its annual Faculty Achievement Awards ceremony to recognize outstanding work by faculty members. Three major awards were presented: Faculty Distinguished Research Prize, Faculty Distinguished Service Prize and a Chaired Professorship.
